Fresh from a sellout theatre tour of Canada, one of Asia and the world’s hottest comedians is back for a big show at Stagetime comedy club.
Based on a bet made back in 2005, Newfoundland native and then English teacher Brian stepped on stage for the first time at a loud expatriate bar in Anyang, South Korea. In 2009, he went on to pioneer the current English stand-up comedy scene in South Korea, officially establishing Stand Up Seoul and turning the country into a legitimate destination on the international comedy circuit.
Aylward performed hundreds of shows across Asia, taking his brand of humour to the likes of Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Thailand, and even Myanmar. Upon returning to his native Canada in 2010, Brian went on to become a two-time finalist in SiriusXM Radio’s “Canada’s Next Top Comic” (2011/2013), be a regular headliner across Canada’s Yuk Yuk’s comedy clubs, and perform theatre tours across the country.
Brian is also the (unofficial) world record holder for the highest number of 10-minute sets in a single day, performing 21 times during the Haebangchon Festival in Seoul. (2014)

One of the hottest acts in the world right now Ahmed Ahmed, a comedian, actor and producer is considered one of the most diverse, multi-faceted talents in the entertainment industry today. With credits being a co-founder of the ‘Axis of Evil’ Comedy Tour, which aired on Comedy Central as the first ever Middle Eastern stand up comedy special. He then made his directorial debut with his groundbreaking documentary Just Like Us, currently on Netflix. Other credits include headlining performances all over Asia including Comedy Central Asia and the Laugh Factory.
