The Old English Pub Adds New Breakfast, Lunch Deals
Daytimes are even brighter these days at The Old English Pub as the
Bangkok watering hole has introduced new breakfast and lunch specials.
Now from the 9 a.m. open at the British-style bar in the heart of the
exclusive Thonglor neighbourhood until 1 p.m. enjoy a traditional Full English
Breakfast for half-price, just 149 baht net. That’s two eggs any style, two
sausages, two English bacon, black pudding, hash browns, baked beans,
mushrooms, grilled tomato, toast and your choice of coffee or tea.
Or choose an American-style breakfast also for 149 baht. And The Old
English Pub never adds “plus-plus” – tax and service charge.
Those in the mood for lunch won’t be disappointed either. Now order any
English pie, burger or pizza and receive a free pint of local beer or a soft
drink of your choice. In the mood for something spicy? Choose any Thai
entrée and also get a free local pint or soft drink.
Lunch specials run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily and coincide with The Old
English Pub’s great happy hour specials.
From open until 5 p.m. enjoy Singha pints for 129 baht net – none of that
plus-plus nonsense – or, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., Hanoi Premium for 99
Baht a bottle. After 5 p.m. get Asahi pints for 129 baht.
Then, on weekends, enjoy the Hanoi Premium special or get Heineken pints
for just 99 baht from noon until 5 p.m.
The Old English Pub is located next to Topps Supermarket in The Maze
Thonglor, on Sukhumvit Soi 55 opposite Thonglor Soi 5. Free parking is
available and the pub offers excellent entertainment, including Tuesday Quiz
Night, Wednesday 80s Night, Live Music Thursday and Ladies Night on
Fridays with all ladies receiving four free cocktails from 5-10 p.m.
