Finnish Tourists Report $2,000 Theft From Pattaya Home

Two Finnish tourists filed a police report after $2,000 in cash was stolen from their rented home in Pattaya early on October 29, 2025. The Finnish tourists theft in Pattaya case has raised safety concerns among foreign visitors staying in Jomtien.

Incident Details

At 1:06 a.m., the victims went to Pattaya City Police Station, Dongtan Curve branch, to report the theft.
Pol. Lt. Anan Mahakit Asawakul, deputy investigator, received the complaint and began the investigation.

The two Finnish women said they were staying with family in a private house on Soi Jomtien 7. After dining out, they returned to find $2,000 in foreign currency missing. No forced entry was found. No one in the house saw the suspect.

Pol. Lt. Anan recorded the report as evidence. He coordinated with the investigation team to inspect the house and gather clues.
