A foreign woman has survived a dramatic fall from an eighth-floor balcony at a Pattaya accommodation complex after plunging into a swimming pool below during an incident in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Pattaya police were called to the property in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district, at approximately 12.50am on 31 October after reports of a disturbance inside an eighth-floor apartment.
The incident also left a Turkish man with head injuries, with police now investigating allegations of physical assault and the circumstances surrounding the woman’s fall.
Blood Trail Leads Police to Injured Turkish Man
According to initial reports, a building maintenance worker received complaints about loud noises coming from the eighth floor at around 1am.
When he went to investigate, he discovered traces of blood leading from the apartment towards the lifts and staircase.
Following the trail, he found a Turkish man, identified as Serkan Ali, with injuries to his head. Security personnel provided initial assistance before emergency services were contacted.

The injured man reportedly told police he had been assaulted by the Uzbek woman who was inside the apartment.
Police Smash Their Way Into Locked Apartment
The maintenance worker returned to the apartment but found the door locked. He could hear a woman shouting from inside.
Attempts to open the door using a spare key proved unsuccessful, prompting staff to contact a locksmith.
Police officers subsequently arrived and discovered the woman standing near the balcony. She appeared to be attempting to leave the apartment via the balcony.
Fearing for her safety, officers rushed to gain entry and forced the door open.
Moments later, they reportedly heard a splash and discovered the woman had fallen from the eighth-floor balcony into the swimming pool below.
Woman Taken to Hospital
The woman, identified only as Nigora, an Uzbek national, was reportedly found without visible external injuries following the fall.
Both she and the injured Turkish man were transported to Pattaya Pattamakhun Hospital for medical assessment and treatment.
Police also discovered a black baton, traces of blood and belongings scattered around the apartment.
Other unidentified items were also recovered, although police have not confirmed whether they were illegal substances or had any connection to the incident.
Police Investigating What Happened
Officers have photographed the scene, collected evidence, interviewed witnesses and begun examining CCTV footage.
Despite the Turkish man’s initial allegation of assault, police have yet to officially identify a suspect or establish exactly what happened inside the apartment.
The circumstances surrounding the woman’s fall also remain unclear.
Pattaya City Police Station is continuing its investigation, with officers working to establish the sequence of events leading up to the dramatic incident.
