According to reports, Nikolai struck the driver’s car during the confrontation. After a brief pause, he allegedly hit the car again, prompting the driver to punch him in the face. Nikolai collapsed, hitting his head on the road and losing consciousness.

A witness recorded the license plate of the white Honda HR-V SUV before the driver fled toward the Phra Tamnak area, a hilltop neighborhood overlooking Pattaya Bay.
