HEMINGWAY’S RETURNS

A little over two years the much-loved expat venue Hemingway closed its doors for the last time — or so we thought! The old, charming colonial house made it easy to see why so many of Bangkok residents and visitors went in for this slice of key West transported right into the heart of Bangkok’s Asoke district.

Opened in 2013, Hemingway’s was an instant success with the expat community and was known for its Western comfort food, outdoor seating in lush surroundings and seemingly countless happy-hour promotions. Unfortunately, the site was sold for development and another high-rise has risen from the once favorite Hemingway’s.

Wind the clock forward, and Hemingway’s has returned to a new location on the ever famous Sukhumvit Soi 11. At the new Bistro & Garden Bar, the beauty and vibe of the original wooden house have been captured. Some of the unique furniture from the old premises reclaimed and incorporated into the new establishment adding to the overall appearance and soul, to ensure the focus was placed upon recreating the distinctive characteristics of the original house.

To celebrate its return Hemingway’s is offering ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR – EVERY DAY! Available from 11 am – 10 pm Monday & Tuesday & 8 pm every other day, with the following Happy Hour prices:

Chilean Wine (Red & White) by the glass only ฿99
House Spirits with mixer just ฿99
 Bottled Beers from ฿99
 Guinness Pints ฿219
 Magners Cider Pints ฿209
 Draft Beers Pints only ฿109

Also available is a large selection of draft on tap which includes: Tiger, Singha, San Mig Light, Heineken, Asahi, Stella, Kronenbourg, Boddingtons, Vedette IPA, Hoegaarden Rose and Guinness.

Hemingway’s is the perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner in tranquil, peaceful surrounding after a hard day at the office or after a busy day sightseeing in Bangkok.
