An Indian tourist in Pattaya reported being attacked and robbed in what police are calling a new Pattaya robbery case. The incident allegedly involved two Thai transwomen after a paid sexual encounter early on October 8. Authorities are now reviewing CCTV footage to verify the report.

Police Receive Report from Indian Tourist
Officers from Mueang Pattaya Police Station said they received the complaint around 2:30 a.m. from a 60-year-old Indian man named Satish. He told police he met a transwoman outside his hotel in South Pattaya after returning from a night out. She offered sexual services, which he accepted.

After their encounter, an argument began and the transwoman left. Satish said she later returned with another transwoman. One of them allegedly sprayed a chemical substance into his face, causing eye irritation and temporary blindness. They then assaulted him and took 7,000 baht in cash, a mobile phone, and his room key before escaping. The entire attack lasted less than two minutes.
Police Review CCTV Footage in Pattaya Robbery Case
Channel 7 News reported that police remain cautious about the tourist’s statement. Officers are checking security footage from the hotel and nearby streets to confirm his account. They also said the report could involve other motives, such as an insurance claim.
Similar Pattaya Robbery Case Reported Weeks Earlier
Two weeks earlier, another Indian tourist filed a complaint after losing a gold necklace worth over 100,000 baht to a group of transwomen on Pattaya Beach. He said the group approached him and his friend, offered sexual services, and later took the necklace during the interaction.
Police Caution Tourists Visiting Pattaya
Pattaya police urged tourists to stay alert when approached by strangers in nightlife areas. They said investigations into both Pattaya robbery cases are ongoing.
