Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Bangkok’s trendy Thonglor neighbourhood can be crazy expensive… and crowded. Packed nightclubs, pricey entrance fees, “special” drinks menus… That’s fun?
This year, enjoy a sensible NYE at The Old English Pub, Thonglor’s only British-style bar and restaurant popular with both Thais and foreigners.
Not only is entry free but so is the parking (for two hours). They’ll be putting on our regular menu, with regular prices. No holiday price gouging and, as always, no “plus plus” tax and service charge nonsense.
The Regulators will provide entertainment, with live music starting at 8 p.m.
