Phuket governor says go outside, smog is “natural phenomenon”

Despite the fact that the island is currently covered in pollution, the governor of Phuket has informed the locals that there is no need for concern. Narong Woonciew reportedly met with local officials yesterday and referred to the haze as a “natural phenomenon,” according to a Phuket News story.

The governor of Phuket has either received inaccurate information or is not aware of the full extent of Phuket’s present air pollution issue.
