Thailand travel demand from Europe rises. The Tourism Authority of Thailand reports strong interest from long-haul visitors as NorseĀ Atlantic launches new flights to Bangkok and Phuket.
New Routes Respond To Thailand Travel Demand
Norse Atlantic introduced three routes to Bangkok in October and November from Stockholm, London Gatwick, and Manchester. The Manchester route is the first nonstop link from the city to Bangkok.

Phuket Services Strengthen Thailand Travel Demand
Two weekly Phuket flights also launched this month from Stockholm and Oslo. Each aircraft seats up to 338 passengers.
Scandinavian Market Shows Strong Thailand Travel Demand
Thailand welcomed 185,580 visitors from Sweden and 104,618 from Norway from January 1 to December 7. Popular destinations include Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, Surat Thani, and Chiang Mai. Warm weather, local food, and friendly service attract these visitors.
