Thailand to Host Tomorrowland Thailand in Chonburi with 2 Billion Baht Government Backing

Thailand is set to host Tomorrowland Thailand, one of the world’s largest electronic dance music (EDM) festivals, after the government approved a 2 billion baht budget for the event from 2026 to 2030. The announcement by the Minister of Tourism and Sports positions Thailand as a premier destination for international music festivals in Asia.

Tomorrowland Thailand Comes to Wisdom Valley, Chonburi

The festival will take place at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi, around two hours from Bangkok. The first edition is planned for late 2026, with annual events continuing through 2030. This will mark the first expansion of Tomorrowland into Asia, attracting EDM fans from around the world.

Festival Management and Government Support

VR One World (Thailand), a joint venture between Thailand’s One Asia Ventures Co., Ltd. and Tomorrowland International from Belgium, which holds the official license, will manage the festival.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will oversee operations, working alongside the Ministry of Public Health, the National Economic and Social Development Council, and the Eastern Economic Corridor Office, which promotes investment and development in Thailand’s eastern provinces.

For the first year, the government will provide €10 million (approximately 400 million baht), with the same amount allocated annually for the next four years. Officials anticipate over one million visitors over the five-year period, boosting Thailand tourism and contributing to the local economy.

Why Tomorrowland Thailand Matters

Tomorrowland is one of the world’s most prestigious EDM festivals, drawing fans from across the globe. Hosting the festival in Thailand highlights the country’s strategy to become a top destination for music festivals and international events, offering both locals and tourists a world-class entertainment experience.

Thailand’s successful bid to host Tomorrowland Thailand strengthens its international image and creates opportunities for cultural exchange, tourism growth, and economic development.
