Birthday Ends in Tragedy at Popular Soi Buakhao Entertainment Area
A 19-year-old woman was left critically injured after reportedly falling from the third floor of a building housing a beer bar in Pattaya’s busy Soi Buakhao entertainment district late on Wednesday night.

Emergency responders from the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation and medical personnel from Pattaya City Hospital were called to the scene at approximately 11:10 p.m. on June 3 after reports that a person had fallen from a height.
The incident took place at a five-storey commercial building in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi. The ground floor of the property operates as a beer bar popular with tourists and nightlife visitors.
When rescue workers arrived, they found a damaged awning at the front of the building, apparently struck during the fall. A 19-year-old Thai woman identified as Natthida was discovered on the ground suffering from severe injuries. She received emergency treatment at the scene before being transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Witnesses told police and rescue personnel that the injured woman was the girlfriend of the foreign owner of the beer bar. According to staff members, the date of the incident coincided with her birthday.
An employee who spoke to local media on condition of anonymity said the woman had been experiencing significant personal stress for some time. Staff reported that she frequently discussed problems in her life and was known to drink alcohol regularly.
While there had reportedly been occasional disagreements between the woman and her boyfriend, witnesses stated they did not believe relationship issues alone were responsible for her emotional distress.
The same employee also claimed that the woman had previously attempted to jump from the building but had been prevented from doing so by her boyfriend.
According to witness accounts, she had been drinking inside the bar before returning to a room located on an upper floor of the building. A loud noise was heard a short time later, prompting staff to investigate. They then discovered she had fallen from the third floor.
Police and relevant authorities are expected to review the circumstances surrounding the incident as part of their investigation.
