Early Morning Disturbance in Pattaya Tourist Area
Pattaya Beach Road, March 5, 2026. A Pattaya transgender sex worker incident caused a public disturbance early Thursday morning when two naked transgender sex workers chased an Indian tourist along the beachfront road while demanding payment for alleged services.
The confrontation occurred around 5:06 a.m. near Soi 13/4, a small side street connected to the city’s main beach road. Pattaya, located in Chonburi Province, remains one of Thailand’s busiest tourist destinations, known for nightlife venues and beach activities.
Witnesses reported the two individuals ran after the tourist whilst shouting accusations that he refused payment for companionship services. Both were fully nude during the chase. One held a brick while confronting the visitor, which caused alarm among nearby pedestrians and vendors.

Municipal Officer Intervenes in Pattaya Transgender Sex Workers Incident
A Pattaya municipal officer, Anuchart Kotmad, age 59, stepped in after seeing the pursuit.
According to the officer, the tourist claimed the dispute involved payment for companionship services following a meeting at a nearby hotel. In Pattaya nightlife districts, companionship services often refer to informal arrangements connected to bars and entertainment venues.
To reduce public exposure and calm the situation, the officer obtained towels from nearby vendors and covered the two women. Bystanders helped separate the parties while the officer mediated the dispute.
Payment Settlement Ends Pattaya Transgender Sex Workers Incident
The Pattaya transgender sex workers incident ended after the tourist agreed to pay 1,000 Thai baht to each of the two women. Both sides then left the area without further confrontation.
Neither party requested police involvement or filed a formal complaint. Authorities did not confirm any immediate charges.
Prostitution remains illegal under Thai law, although enforcement often focuses on fines or regulatory penalties. Public nudity also violates local laws and may lead to penalties if authorities pursue charges.
Concerns Over Pattaya’s Tourism Image
Local residents and officials said the Pattaya transgender sex workers incident highlights concerns about public disturbances in busy tourist areas. Pattaya receives millions of visitors each year, and authorities continue efforts to maintain order in nightlife districts and along popular locations such as Pattaya Beach Road.
Officials have not confirmed whether further legal action will follow.
