Police question staff after Pattaya Walking Street incident
Staff told police that Mr Scott had been drinking with his adult son and became intoxicated. They said he caused a disturbance and refused to leave when asked. Security was called, and he was presented with a bill of 1,070 baht, roughly 30 US dollars. According to the staff, he refused to pay and resisted being escorted out. They claimed he fell and hit his head on the glass.

Police are not convinced by that version of events. Officers noted the injuries did not match what they would expect from a simple fall, raising concerns about a possible assault. Mr Scott was not in a condition to give a full statement, but appeared to disagree with the explanation.

CCTV footage requested in Pattaya Walking Street incident probe
Investigators asked for CCTV footage, but the venue said it could not provide it at the time due to technical issues. The manager and security staff have been called in for questioning at Pattaya City Police Station. Police plan to speak with Mr Scott once he has recovered.

Authorities have not released the name of the venue. They described it as a themed entertainment bar, a common type of venue in Pattaya that often features specific performances or hostesses.
