The Pattaya cocaine arrest of two Nigerian men has followed a condominium raid by Chonburi Immigration officers. Police reportedly found six grams of suspected cocaine hidden inside a kitchen range hood. One man was also found to be staying in Thailand illegally, while both men were questioned over the alleged drugs.
Pattaya Cocaine Arrest: Six Grams Found in Kitchen Range Hood
The operation took place on 9 October 2026 after Chonburi Immigration officers investigated information about Nigerian nationals staying at a condominium in Pattaya.
According to police, officers suspected one of the men of overstaying or otherwise residing in Thailand illegally. They also investigated possible links to drug-related activity.
The operation formed part of a wider campaign targeting drug offences, illegal business activities and other suspected criminal activity in tourist areas.
The search team was led by Pol. Lt. Col. Kawinwat Arayasuriwong, deputy superintendent of Chonburi Immigration, under the direction of the provincial immigration command.
Officers located two Nigerian men inside the condominium. They identified them as Enna, 25, and Oganu, 29.
Immigration checks reportedly showed Enna was staying in Thailand illegally, while Oganu had entered the country on a tourist visa.
Cocaine Discovered During Condominium Search

Immigration officers searched the condominium for more than 20 minutes before finding five small packets of suspected cocaine hidden inside the kitchen range hood.
The packets were reportedly wrapped in black adhesive tape and weighed approximately six grams in total.
Officers seized the suspected drugs as evidence and continued questioning the two men about their alleged possession and the source of the substance.
Investigators are examining how the drugs came to be inside the condominium and whether anyone else was involved.
The discovery alone does not establish whether the substance was intended for personal use or sale. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances.
Drug Tests Produce Different Results
Following the search, officers conducted preliminary urine tests on both men.
Police reported a positive result for Enna, the 25-year-old man who was also found to be staying in Thailand illegally.
Oganu, aged 29, reportedly tested negative.
The results form part of the investigation. Any alleged drug use and immigration offences remain subject to the relevant legal process.
Suspects Name Alleged Supplier Near Walking Street
During initial questioning, the two men reportedly told officers they had obtained the cocaine from an acquaintance near Walking Street in Pattaya.
They claimed the substance was intended for personal consumption rather than resale. According to their account, payment had not yet been made.
Investigators are checking the men’s statements and attempting to identify the person they named as the alleged supplier.
Police have not confirmed whether this individual has been identified or arrested. They have also not established publicly whether the case involves a wider drug supply network.
Two Nigerian Men Handed Over to Pattaya Police
Following the operation, immigration officers transferred both men and the seized suspected cocaine to investigators at Pattaya City Police Station for further proceedings.
The investigation covers the suspected drug offence and the separate immigration issue involving Enna’s reported unlawful stay in Thailand.
Authorities are examining the evidence, the men’s accounts and the circumstances surrounding the discovery.
The final charges and any subsequent court outcome should be confirmed through official police or court updates.
Pattaya Cocaine Arrest Investigation Continues
The Pattaya cocaine arrest forms part of ongoing efforts by Thai authorities to address drug-related offences and immigration violations in tourist destinations.
Investigators are now focused on establishing the source of the suspected cocaine, checking the suspects’ statements and determining whether further legal action is appropriate.
The case centres on the reported discovery of approximately six grams of suspected cocaine hidden inside a condominium kitchen range hood. Both Nigerian men have been detained following the operation, and the investigation remains ongoing.
