Discussions on Phnom Penh ‘Pub Street’ dominated the working meeting of the Phnom Penh Municipal Administration last week with Governor Khuong Sreng stating that the entire project would be ready by the year end.
The newly-slated commercial and entertainment district aims to provide an improved and expanded nightlife area for Phnom Penh local and international holidayers, and another boost to the fast-growing Phnom Penh tourism industry.
Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh, said that the administration has already finished the feasibility study for the project, and is now focussed on its implementation.
During the meeting with relevant authorities, the governor urged the Department of Public Works and Transport to begin necessary renovations for the project’s inauguration in six months.
